Allen Amis, CEO

allen2Mr. Amis previously managed construction projects for the U.S. Government. He was with Kiewit Construction for 16 years, where he was responsible for $90M+ in equipment assets. He also worked on numerous large civil projects, including the New York Water Tunnel and the Super Collider. In addition, Mr. Amis was a volunteer fireman in Nebraska. For five years, he was with Missouri Valley Machinery Company, the Amis family Caterpillar dealership. In 2005, the Amis family established a scholarship for police academy recruits. Greg Furman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

gregMr. Furman leads the corporate sales operations at 911-Inc. Mr. Furman has been instrumental in the growth and evolution of the sales organization through the creation of innovative new compensation plans, pipeline development, sales segmentation and growth strategies.  He is also chartered with ensuring the prominence of the company’s image as a superior public safety systems provider. Mr. Furman brings 20 years of solid sales and superior management skills from industry-leading companies IBM and Rockwell Automation. With a customer-focused approach, he most recently was responsible for successfully growing a start up compliance solutions software company into a market leader.  In addition, he holds a BS degree in engineering from Iowa State University.


Ken Martin, Software Engineering Manager

kenMr. Martin directs software development of the QuickResponseTM NextGen solution for 911-Inc. Prior to joining the company, he served as a senior manager and software engineer for innovative companies including: American Data Services, Inc.; Summit Technologies, International; National Distributor Services; EBS/Mechdata and others.  Mr. Martin holds an AAS degree in computer programming for business and mastery certificates in Visual Basic 5, Data Modeling with S-Designer, and he’s achieved leadership training certification from Dale Carnegie.


Jerry Pope, Applications Engineering Manager

jerryMr. Pope oversees project management, installations, training and technical support at 911-Inc. He and his team support current and potential customers with detailed system information, configurations and support. Prior to joining 911-Inc., Mr. Pope was a Communications Administrator for McPherson County Emergency Communications, where he developed firsthand PSAP management and user experiences that are invaluable to 911-Inc. and our customer base.  In addition, he has served as a dispatcher and a police officer in Salina, Kansas. Mr. Pope is a certified APCO EMD instructor, he graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy, and he is a past second vice president of the Kansas APCO chapter.


Sudhir Bijanki, Research & Development Manager

sudhirDr. Bijanki serves as the leader for 911-Inc. in the areas of research, architecture design and implementation of Next Generation IP solutions. He and his team focus on delivering solutions that are NENA compliant, while leveraging technology standards such as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to drive open standards-based solutions. Prior to joining 911-Inc., Dr. Bijanki was a Sr. Program Manager with Motorola, Inc. in the mobile devices division. His illustrious career includes several key roles within Motorola, Lucent, and AT&T. Dr. Bijanki holds a BS degree in math and physics from Bangalore University, an MS degree in physics from the University of Nebraska and a PhD in physics from the University of Nebraska.


Chuck Hunnicutt, Senior NG-911 System Architect

chuckMr.Hunnicutt brings to 911-Inc. more than 40 years of telecom experience, with over 20 years in R&D senior management positions. He works closely with Dr. Bijanki to define optimal 911-Inc. technology strategies and directions based on his innate ability to align technology capabilities with customer requirements. Mr. Hunnicutt’s career includes several leadership positions with Motorola, Tellabs, COMNET and Bell Laboratories (Lucent). He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS degree in engineering science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BC degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.


Executive Committee

The executive committee includes the Operations Manager, Business Development Manager, Software Development Manager, the CEO, and a company director. All major decisions are brought before this committee, which meets weekly. The committee helps 911-Inc. move forward with the best interests of its customers in mind, while ensuring a customer-driven direction of technological advancements.
